MORE ABOUT US!
New Zealand Society of Dowsing and Radionics Inc.
The New Zealand Society of Dowsing and Radionics Inc. is a long-standing, member-based organisation dedicated to the study and practice of Dowsing and Radionics. Established in 1955 (originally as the Herbert George Radiesthesia Association), the Society carries forward the teachings and influence of Herbert George, a key figure in developing dowsing practices in New Zealand.
The Society functions as a learning community where members meet regularly, share knowledge, and participate in workshops, field trips, and practical demonstrations. Activities range from traditional water dowsing to broader metaphysical and energy-based explorations, reflecting a blend of historical practice and modern interpretation.

TESTIMONIALS
Proven Outcomes
"Jackie was one of the last members" who could relate stories from the early days of the Society. She could never say a nasty world about anyone, and she could always be seen when at a café, to use her pendulum to energise and the glass of water on the table!
“The general public who put down Dowsing don’t know the huge, wonderful world they are denying themselves."
Jackie Dow -Past Secretary for over 20 years.
I was introduced to Dowsing (well radionics really) when I was 18years old by an amazing Man who showed me how to heal my horse.
I was hooked and I have practiced energy healing on people and animals ever since.
My use of the pendulum was pretty much limited to that and asking the odd question.
I then joined the society in 2000 and then my world expanded again.
Happy Dowsing
Margo Parsons
I am grateful to my mentors
in the Dowsing Society, they enabled me to expand my outlook to include finding water, awareness of earth energies, searching archaeological site, balancing soil health and our health and searching for lost objects. I have learned about past lives, disincarnates and negative thought forms. Dowsing has turned my life around.
